[Gina McCarthy is an unrepentant and a zealous climate change alarmist, with a little too much self-congratulation in her latest interviews for my tastes. Her certainty and biases will not be missed by the US energy revolution: and arguably, her lack of independence from the White House has politicized the EPA beyond recognition.

For the record, the GHG emission reductions in the US over the last decade have been on a glide path downward before Gina was named Director and they will continue path down more because of technological advancement, human capital and private sector innovation than anything the EPA did. Steve]
