The narrative about emissions reduction has been that the EPA, Obama White House, and the federal agencies have been responsible for the significant reductions in the US over the last decade. Nothing could be farther from the facts as the NRDC admits.

It has been the private sector, including the utilities and the natural gas, tight oil and feedstock found in the Bakken, Permian, Marcellus, et al, that deserve the majority of the credit for the 14 % improvement. Even Gina McCarthy admitted in her testimony in front of the Congress (2013-2014-2015) about the Clean Power Plan that the CPP would only reduce global emissions by 0.01 %: Gina suggested the CPP had symbolic meaning.

The lack of modesty by the 2009-2017 EPA and large environmental groups is almost as troubling as the Major Media reporting during that period. Steve
